UPDATE: Israeli military spokesperson confirms Uncaptured Media investigation debunking 'babies hung from a clothesline' claim
The spokesperson confirmed to Haaretz that a deception it had promoted was indeed false.
Haaretz, the flagship liberal Israeli media outlet, published an article debunking myths about the events of October 7. Among them was the claim that Hamas killed Israeli babies and hung them on a clothesline. As I reported, this was a deliberate deception originating with Yaron Buskila, an Israeli military reserve who was speaking in an official capacity.
Israeli journalist Ishay Cohen published the phony testimony, but deleted his post after receiving complaints. When I spoke to Buskila by phone, he insisted that Cohen had spoken to the Israeli military spokesperson’s office and confirmed the story. The statement published in Haaretz says otherwise.
From Haaretz:
The Israeli military spokesperson did not deny that the words of the officer Buskila do not correspond to reality, and said: "The officer serves as an army officer in the reserves. He arrived at a large number of scenes after the attack and was exposed to many difficult scenes as part of his duties. The details of the incident will be discussed with the officer and it will be made clear to him that Events whose details are vague and unofficial should not be described."

Dan,
fwiw- Looks like some very interesting info here from an Israeli about 10/7:
The 'Blue Shirts' of October 7
Some of the Hamas field Commanders on the day of the attack were NOT Palestinians or even Arabs & at least one was almost certainly Israeli!
